Tianqi Lithium Co., Ltd. held its 2020 annual general meeting of shareholders at its headquarter in Chengdu on May 21, 2021.

Tianqi Founder & Chairman Jiang Weiping presided over the meeting, on which Board Secretary Li Bo and CFO Zou Jun reported on relevant proposals. All directors, supervisors, senior management personnel, lawyers, some shareholders or authorized representatives of shareholders of the company, as well as some institutional investors, securities analysts and some media representatives attended the meeting.

Members of the meeting reviewed proposals via on-site voting and online voting, and listened to the 2020 debriefing report of all independent directors. Ten proposals were approved: Proposal on Reviewing Articles of Association, 2020 Work Report of the Board of Directors, 2020 Work Report of the Board of Supervisors, Full Text and Summary of 2020 Annual Report, 2020 Financial Final Accounts Report, Proposal on 2020 Profit Distribution Plan, Special Report on the Storage and Usage of Raised Funds in 2020, Proposal on Providing Guarantee for Wholly-owned Subsidiaries to Apply for Bank Credit, Proposal on Renewal of the Company's Audit Institution in 2021, and the Remuneration Plan for the Fifth-term Board of Directors and Supervisors.

The meeting was packed with investors, who dicussed a lot with the company’s management on such issues as its strategies, production and operation plans, overseas asset operations and debt solutions, and received detailed response.

Lawyers from Beijing Zhonglun Law Firm (Chengdu) also attended as witnesses to the meeting and issued a legal opinion.
