On the “Travelling farther with lithium. Living better with Tianqi” 2022 Annual Meeting held by Tianqi Lithium in Chengdu on January 24, 2022, all the staff in Chengdu Headquarters and representatives from other bases gathered together to celebrate the New Year.
At the meeting, Jiang Weiping, founder and chairman of Tianqi Lithium, reviewed what the company’s milestones and achievements since 2021, and extended the sincere New Year greetings to everyone.

Then Jiang and the management awarded “Special Contribution to Tianqi Lithium" to the leaders and colleagues who grow with and work for the company for many years. He said that these achievements were made possible by the hard work, dedication and intelligence of everyone in Tianqi and he was really grateful for that. What’s more, he hoped that Tianqi Lithium will remain committed to the original aspiration of “working hard with unyielding spirit”, grasp the strategic opportunities brought by the era and complete the company's strategic tasks to build a brighter future!
HA, Frank Chun Shing, director and president of Tianqi Lithium, shared his experiences in expanding the company’s international market in his first year in Tianqi. He said that it is the staff’s hard work and unity as well as the support and concerns of our friends that make us who we are. And with much remains to be done, we will ride the winds and break the waves to move forward!

Amid the warm applause at the scene, the management presented honorary certificates and prizes to the divisions and employees who won the honor of 2021 Tianqi Lithium Contribution Award and Outstanding Volunteer Award. Then Tianqi Lithium Volunteer Team sang its song of volunteers “Changing the World with Lithium" and launched a volunteer initiative. Employees from Shehong Tianqi also gave wonderful performances.

At the meeting, Chairman Jiang and the management , via video link, warmly greeted and commended colleagues who were stationed to the Kwinana plant for technical exchange. Colleagues visiting Australia said that they would give back to the company with their rich experience, and wished the leaders and colleagues at the annual meeting a happy new year.

A New Year greeting video was also played at the meeting. Recorded by government leaders, partners at home and abroad, external research institutes, leaders and employees of Tianqi Lithium, this video full of warm and good wishes touched everyone at the scene. In the end, the company once again extended its sincere gratitude and best wishes to all government leaders, investors, partners, friends at home and abroad and all the employees!
The interactive games pushed the atmosphere to a climax and all were in great joy. Finally, the meeting ended with loud cheers and warm applause.
This meeting has enhanced the staff’s sense of identity and team cohesiveness. We will unite and make concerted efforts to make the company a global leader in new-energy materials industry with lithium as its core!
