On the morning of December 27, Tianqi Lithium held a public welfare event in Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan province. Experts from the EAP psychological counseling team of Southwest University of Science and Technology (SWUST) and Chengdu Anyu Dental Implant Hospital visited Kangding City and provided free psychological counseling and oral disease consultation services for the cadres and employees who offer targeted assistance there.

The climate in Ganzi is often dry and cold, while the weather is volatile. Facing a heavy workload, most of the cadres and employees there eat irregularly. Hence, psychological problems and oral diseases are common among them. Tianqi Lithium sent experts to treat their different symptoms.

Xin Yong, a psychology professor from SWUST, explained the causes of anxiety and the methods to be happier, thus enabling them to keep interested in simple things and make their work and life more pleasing and fulfilling. Dr. He Yanjin, a dentistry expert, provided complimentary consultancy on oral problems such as dental caries and pericoronitis.

The organizers and participants sent their highest salute to the cadres, who have worked so hard for the regional development despite the harsh environment in the high-altitude area. They also showed their gratitude and respect to those who came to Ganzi and helped local prosperity. The meaningful event was well-received as evidenced by bursts of applause.

Since a 6.8 magnitude earthquake shook Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province in September this year, Tianqi Lithium quickly donated RMB 10 million for disaster relief and post-disaster reconstruction and maintained communication with Ganzi to stay informed about the needs there and thus provided targeted assistance.
