HA, Frank Chun Shing, director and president of Tianqi Lithium, held talks with Long Dingbin, Consul General of China in Perth

On May 9, 2022, HA, Frank Chun Shing, director and president of Tianqi Lithium, held talks with Long Dingbin, Consul General of China in Perth, on the economic and trade cooperation between China and Western Australia. The meeting was also attended by Lv Ruihao, commercial consul of Chinese Consulate General in Perth; Zhang Meixia, vice commercial consul; Guo Wei, executive vice president of Tianqi Lithium; and Liu Ying, executive vice president of Tianqi Lithium and president of Tianqi Lithium Energy Australia (TLEA).

In the talk, President HA first thanked the Consulate General for his attention to and support for Tianqi Lithium, and updated him on the production line of lithium hydroxide in Kwinana plant in Western Australia and the company's next step planning.

Long congratulated the success of the project of lithium hydroxide plant in Kwinana. He said that Tianqi Lithium’s investment in Western Australia represents pragmatic cooperation between China and Australia. He hopes the company will further coordinate its development and safety, continue to fulfill its social responsibilities, and play a bigger role in deepening China-Australia cooperation.


President HA said that with the development of Kwinana plant, Tianqi Lithium will usher in new opportunities. As a listed company, it will adhere to high standard and compliant production, promote economic and social development, and enhance China-Australia cooperation.
