On the morning of December 1, Argentina time, Vice Chair Jiang Anqi and Director HA Frank Chun Shing of Tianqi Lithium visited Y-TEC, the sci-tech R&D division of YPF, and held a meeting with Roberto Salvarrezza, Chairman of Y-TEC and former Minister of Science and Technology of Argentina, and other team members.

At the meeting, the delegation and the head of the YPF Lithium team had in-depth exchanges on technology upgrading, green and low-carbon development, and technology empowerment among other topics. Specifically, they held talks on how to improve production efficiency and product quality, reduce operating costs, promote ESG practices, etc.

Tianqi Lithium and the YPF Group signed a memorandum of cooperation (MOU) on the lithium industrial chain in August this year. The MOU is designed for the two companies to exert their respective industrial advantages and have more cooperation on energy, mineral resources, environmental protection, talent exchange, sci-tech innovation, etc.
