Recently, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the Ministry of Emergency Management, and the National Health Commission jointly announced the results of the 2022-2023 “Ankang Cup” - a competition in China focuses on safety and health in various sectors. Tianqi Lithium (Shehong) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shehong Plant") Operation Team Three was honored with the title of the "Outstanding Team" for its exceptional performance in workplace safety management. This national-level recognition highlights the team’s commitment to safety production and reflects Tianqi Lithium’ s exemplary practices in safety management and occupational health.
Under the theme of “Safety for All, Everyone Trained for Emergencies” the Shehong plant organized company-wide participation in the Ankang Cup, deepening the accountability of safety production responsibilities and strengthening risk prevention capabilities. Among all teams, Operation Team Three stood out as a frontrunner. By prioritizing workplace safety, advancing occupational disease prevention, and institutionalizing regular safety training and emergency drills, the team has ensured that all members master safe operating skills and emergency response methods. Their efforts have effectively embedded a safety-first culture across the company and contributed significantly to the stable improvement of workplace safety and occupational health.
After a rigorous selection process at Shehong plant and unanimous approval by the employee representative assembly, Operation Team Three advanced through municipal, provincial, and national-level evaluations before ultimately earning this distinguished honor. The award recognizes not only the team’s commitment to safety but also serves as authoritative validation of Tianqi Lithium’s safety management system and corporate culture building.

This recognition not only affirms the company’s efforts in safety production but will also further enhance its safety governance standards, setting a benchmark for the healthy development of the industry.
The Ankang Cup has become a national signature activity in workplace safety and health. By focusing on the dual priorities of “An - safety” and “Kang - health” it has been instrumental in helping enterprises strengthen their safety defenses since its launch in 1998, and becoming a key benchmark for measuring effectiveness of safety production.
