On August 18, the delegation from the Seminar on Standardization Cooperation in Energy Infrastructure of Latin American Countries visited Tianqi Lithium. Senior officials and experts from the energy sectors of Bolivia, Chile, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Panama, Peru, and other countries toured the Li Science Museum and engaged in discussions with the Tianqi team on research and development innovation, standard setting, and sustainable development in the lithium battery industry.

During the visit to the Li Science Museum , the delegation learned about the global distribution of lithium resources and the development history of the lithium and battery industries. Throughout the visit, the delegation showed great interest in the innovative practices of China’s lithium and battery industries, and exchanged views on topics such as standard setting, community collaboration, and efficient utilization of lithium resources in the industry’s development.

The delegation stated that Tianqi Lithium’s innovative practices in the lithium battery field are of great reference value for Latin American enterprises. Through this visit, they not only gained an in-depth understanding of the latest development and innovative achievements of China’s lithium and battery industries, but also highly appreciated Tianqi Lithium’s concept of “economic benefits never override the environment or people’s safety and well-being” as well as Tianqi’s outstanding ESG practices at home and abroad.
