On January 13, 2024, the "Joyful Spring Festival" celebration, also known as the Chilean Dragon Year Celebration, was held in the capital region of Santiago, Chile. The event was co-hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Chile, the Municipal Government of Providencia in the capital region, the Confucius Institute at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, and the Chilean Dragon and Lion Dance Association.

Chinese Ambassador to Chile, Niu Qingbao, Providencia Mayor Maté, and the President of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, Sanchez, attended and delivered speeches. The event attracted over 25,000 people from various sectors who actively participated. Tianqi Lithium was invited and shared its ESG and sustainable development concepts, along with some achievements.

At the Santiago Sculpture Park booth, Tianqi Lithium provided cultural experiences such as Chinese calligraphy, tea art, paper cutting, and cuisine for the Chilean public. The Tianqi Lithium booth featured carefully prepared gifts, including panda plush toys and festive goodie bags.

During the Chilean Dragon Year Celebration, students from the "Lithium Dreams Chilean Study Tour Program" supported by Tianqi Lithium volunteered at the event. They shared their study tour stories and life experiences in China with the citizens of Chile.

Catherine, one of the study tour students, dressed in Hanfu and participated in the Dragon Year Celebration, sharing her study tour experiences on stage. "From the Panda Base to the ancient city of Xi'an, we felt the charm of Chinese culture, the convenience of the modern digital economy, the speed of China's high-speed rail, and gained insights into the rapid development of China's new energy industry..." These interesting study tour stories caught the attention of young Chileans.

At the Tianqi Lithium booth, the office staff introduced our sustainable development concepts to Chilean citizens, showcasing the original sand painting "We Share," an animated short film "The Lithium World" and recommended Tianqi Lithium's first global lithium battery industry carbon white paper, "Sustainable Lithium Industry White Paper under Net Zero Emissions Goal," which sparked strong interest among Chilean citizens.

After the event, media such as the Chinese Embassy in Chile, Providencia Regional Government official website, Xinhua News Agency, CGTN, and Chilean National Television reported on the event, and some enthusiastic citizens shared their experiences on social media.
