Sichuan Provincial Key Laboratory of Lithium Resources and Materials at Tianqi Lithium organized Public Activities in Science and Technology Week

As required by the Notice on 2023 National Science and Technology Week and the Notice on2023 Sichuan Science and Technology Week, Sichuan Provincial Key Laboratory of Lithium Resources and Materials（hereafter referred to as “The Laboratory")organized a series of events to promote scientific and technological innovation achievements and increase public awareness of scienceBy doing so, we aim to implement President Xi Jinping's vision for science and technology innovation, enhance national science popularization and cultivate the enthusiasm for science in the society.

During the Science and Technology Week, the laboratory showcased the characteristics of lithium materials and related research and development achievements to the public through offline visits and online lectures. During the visit, the public showed interest in the sophisticated equipment used in the preparation laboratory, chemical analysis room and instrumental analysis room, and learned about the detailed transformation process of lithium materials.

At the "Lithium Technology Sharing Meeting," three senior engineers from the Laboratory presented on the themes of "Past Lives and Future of Lithium Battery," "Analysis and Prospect of Lithium Extraction Technology in Salt Lake," and "Progress and Trend of Hard Rock Lithium Ore Processing." Their presentations covered the history and trends of lithium battery development, as well as the exploitation and processing technology of lithium resources in salt lakes and were well-received by the attendees.
