The epidemic calls us to action, and it is our duty to bring it under control. At the start of the new year 2022, as Suzhou fought against the epidemic, Tianqi Lithium (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. took the initiative to undertake corporate social responsibility. Apart from mobilizing its entire staff, the company also called on employees to follow the examples of Lei Feng to participate in the epidemic prevention and control work in the neighborhood, spreading positive energy.

Fighting the Pandemic & Promoting Production

Under the leadership of Zhang Bingyuan, general manager of Jiangsu Tianqi, the company started to activate contingency plans after the outbreak, started epidemic prevention and control, and implement the requirements of governments at all levels. In addition, it also conducted health screening on employees, traced their movements as well as their families’, ensured thorough disinfection in the plant, and implemented the regular epidemic prevention and control policy.

On the other hand, the company made overall plans for its operation in accordance with the latest development of the epidemic. On the premise of safety, we actively started production and ensured sufficient reserves of various anti-epidemic materials and producer goods to create a safe workplace for employees. In addition, we also required them not to join events with large gatherings for the sake of their health and go all out to stabilize supply and production, so as to minimize the impact of epidemic on the company.

Rally volunteers to contribute to common good

As the virus surged in the city, our volunteers were at the forefront of fighting against the epidemic, carry forward Lei Feng's spirit with deeds.

Wu is an equipment maintenance technician and has participated in many volunteer activities. As soon as he got off the night shift, he joined the volunteer work on the freeway. Suffering from bad weather and poor conditions, Wu could only sleep for a short time in the tent during the shift change, let alone had time to eat. “I’m done here. Who else need help?" Wu said, after finishing his job.

There are many more volunteers from Tianqi. They, as "ordinary people”, contribute silently and fulfill their responsibilities to protect the city.

Our volunteers also helped to conduct covid tests for residents in the community. They started work at 5:30 am. and finished when every single resident was tested.

On March 2, 2022, according to the latest development of the epidemic, Jiangsu Tianqi donated anti-epidemic and medical materials to Deji Street and Deji Police Station in time. In this way, we warmed the hearts of those who were on the forefront fighting the epidemic, and tried to help the city return to warm and light-hearted normal life!

On March 5, the day of learning from Lei Feng, we follow the examples of Lei Feng and will continue to carry forward his spirit.
