On November 9, 2022, the China (Suining) International Conference on Lithium Battery Industry & International Symposium on New Energy Vehicle and Power Battery Industry was successfully held in Suining's first Marriott Hotel. With the theme of "Lithium Life, Low Carbon Future", the conference focuses on the new supply-and-demand ecology for core lithium metals, an innovative safety measures for new energy vehicles (NEVs), key materials of power battery with high energy density, fast charging technology of NEVs, the application of digital technology in the lithium industry, the value chain of lithium battery recycling and other issues. The conference is aimed at building a new ecosystem for the lithium industry as we pursue green and low-carbon development. Jiang Weiping, the founder and chairman of Tianqi Lithium, was invited to address the leaders, guests, and friends attending the conference. Meanwhile, HA Frank Chun Shing, Tianqi's Director and CEO, signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement with Cui Peng, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and director of the China-Pakistan Joint Research Center on Earth Sciences, on the exploration, exploitation, and utilization of lithium resources in Pakistan.

At the conference, HA Frank Chun Shing, Director and CEO of Tianqi Lithium, and Cui Peng, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and director of China-Pakistan Joint Research Center on Earth Sciences, signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement on behalf of the company and the research center. The agreement means that bilateral strategic cooperation, including projects, joint R&D, and the commercialization and promotion of innovations, will be carried out in sensible utilization of strategic mineral resources, high-value utilization, sustainable utilization, etc.
