Every November, Tianqi Lithium holds the EHS Advocacy Week themed "Safer, More Environment-Friendly, and More Responsible". During the fourth such week in 2022, our headquarters in Chengdu and four production bases in and out of China carried out fire drills, emergency response competitions, safety lectures, and other activities to help all employees know more about EHS and improve the corporate culture.

In the fire drill at Chengdu headquarters, training smoke was set. Employees covered their mouths and noses to avoid inhaling smoke, and quickly exit the building in an orderly fashion. Employees also learned about what starts fires and what to do during fire emergencies. In safety lectures, trainers explained the Heimlich maneuver and CPR and clarified the accountability system of fire safety, which includes fire alarms, firefighting, evacuation, and education. Several cases were also shared.
