Recently, the 2025 “Data Elements ×” Competition – Sichuan Regional Finals concluded successfully in Suining. The event was jointly hosted by the Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Sichuan Provincial Data Administration, 21 other provincial departments, and the Suining Municipal People's Government.
Suining Tianqi Lithium Co., Ltd. (the Anju Plant) stood out in the highly competitive Industrial Manufacturing track. Its project titled “Full-Process Intelligent Control of Lithium Carbonate Production Based on DCS” advanced to the Sichuan regional finals and ultimately won the Outstanding Technology Innovation Award.
This project represents one of Tianqi Lithium’s core achievements in digital transformation and intelligent manufacturing. Successfully implemented at the Anju Plant, the system leverages real-time collection and analysis of massive equipment operation data and process control parameters. Through time-series data processing, industrial data governance, and AI technologies such as neural network algorithms, the solution enables precise process control and optimized energy consumption across the lithium carbonate production workflow.
With a forward-looking technological vision, Tianqi Lithium is actively exploring “Artificial Intelligence + Industry Applications”, creating new pathways for technological innovation and smart manufacturing in the lithium industry.
This award recognizes Tianqi Lithium’s continued investment in unlocking the value of data elements and developing enterprise-level AI algorithm models. As China’s “Data Elements ×” initiative continues to advance, Tianqi Lithium will further deepen the application of digital and intelligent technologies to drive innovation and sustainable growth across the industry.
The 2025 “Data Elements ×” Competition – Sichuan Regional Finals featured tracks across 13 sectors, including industrial manufacturing, modern agriculture, urban governance, and green low-carbon development, along with a special open innovation category. Since launching on June 27, the competition attracted strong participation from enterprises, research institutes, and universities across and beyond the province, receiving nearly 500 valid project submissions. After a highly competitive preliminary round, 240 teams advanced to the final stage.
