On July 18, the ZHI-XING China: Youth Exchange Delegation organized by the Sichuan Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Peking University, visited Tianqi Lithium. The delegation, consisting of 20 students from 10 renowned universities in both China and the U.S., including Harvard University, Stanford University, Cornell University, Georgetown University, University of California, Berkeley, University of Chicago, and Peking University, toured the Li Science Museum. The U.S.-China youth engaged in friendly interactions with the Tianqi Lithium team, sharing their visions on lithium.
During their visit, the youth from both countries engaged in lively discussions with the Tianqi team on topics such as climate change, energy transition, circular economy, and sustainable development. “China’s industrial chain planning in the lithium battery field is impressive,” said Sinclair Trevor William, a student from Cornell University. “It showcases not only the achievements of new energy technologies, but also the company’s concern for environmental responsibility and the future—this is truly remarkable."
Many students also shared their impressions of Chengdu, their insights of the new energy industry, especially electric vehicles, and their feelings after visiting：

Through this visit, the delegation members gained a deeper understanding of the role new energy technologies play in supporting China’s carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals and gained insight into the global significance of China’s innovation. The Li Science Museum, a technological and cultural landmark by Xinglong Lake, continues to serve as a bridge for innovation exchange between China and the world, promoting cross-cultural understanding and friendship while gathering the wisdom of youth to drive global energy transformation and sustainable development.
