On January 16th, some of the guests invited to the 2025 Consular Officials New Year Reception visited the Tianqi Lithium Li Science Museum in Tianfu New Area before the event began. The visiting delegation included Consuls General (or Acting Consuls General) and officials from nine countries—Australia, Austria, Brazil, Belarus, Canada, Chile, France, Myanmar, and Thailand—based in Chengdu (Chongqing), along with representatives from Hong Kong and Macau institutions in Chengdu and several national chamber of commerce representatives. Luo Lun, Director of the International Cooperation and Investment Promotion Bureau of Tianfu New Area, accompanied the visitors, while the Tianqi Lithium team provided a warm welcome.

Inside the Li Science Museum, the delegation watched the original short film "Origins", which focuses on the origin, development, and contemporary applications of lithium. The film immerses viewers in the positive impact that lithium has had on the advancement of human civilization.

The guests at the scene also had the opportunity to fully explore the panoramic view of the lithium industry and its future development through the immersive technological presentations within the museum. They engaged in in-depth discussions on how international cooperation can better promote the global green energy transition and sustainable development.

The Li Science Museum is dedicated to educating the public about the past, present, and future of lithium, telling the scientific story of lithium, and continuously promoting the concept of sustainable development based on the harmonious coexistence of humans and nature. Additionally, the museum hosts international students, foreign diplomats, and business leaders, aiming to foster international cooperation and cultural exchange, thereby injecting continuous energy into global green and sustainable development.
