A Delegation from Chilean University Visited Tianqi Lithium to Conduct an Exchange Visit
On April 23, Francisco Martínez Concha, Dean of the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at Chilean University, led a team of teachers to visit Tianqi Lithium. The responsible person from the relevant departments of Tianqi Lithium warmly received the delegation and accompanied them on a visit to the Li Science Museum.
At the Li Science Museum, the Chilean University delegation gained a deep understanding of Tianqi Lithium's latest achievements in lithium resource development, product innovation, and industrial collaboration. Francisco Martínez Concha, Dean of the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at Chilean University, said, "The Li Science Museum has explained the past and present of lithium elements very thoroughly. Science is a lasting cause, and major scientific innovations are the result of continuous research and unremitting efforts by several generations."
After the visit to the Science Museum, both sides continued to conduct in-depth discussions on cooperation in innovation research and development and ESG areas during the meeting. The person responsible for ESG and sustainable development at Tianqi Lithium introduced in detail the company's ESG strategic positioning, management system, and practical achievements, demonstrating the company's responsibility and commitment to sustainable development. At the same time, the person responsible for research and development management at Tianqi Lithium focused on introducing the Sichuan Provincial Key Laboratory of Lithium Resources and Lithium Materials and the research direction of the laboratory, and exchanged ideas on the latest research and development progress with the Chilean University delegation.
Chilean University introduced its advantages in professional technology and expressed its willingness to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Tianqi Lithium. Both sides agreed that the transformation of economic and social development requires scientific research and development innovation to provide better solutions. Therefore, both sides will continue to deepen school-enterprise cooperation, especially strengthening technical exchanges and cooperation in ESG-related areas, to promote the global green and low-carbon transformation of energy and sustainable development.
