In the early spring, under the gentle sunlight, a group of guests arrived at the Li Science Museum—a media delegation from 19 countries across Latin America, organized by the China International Communication Center. On April 1st, 21 journalists from 19 Latin American countries, along with representatives from the China International Communication Center, the Foreign Affairs Office of Sichuan Province, local media, and Tianfu New Area, visited Tianqi Lithium, where they were warmly received by Tianqi Lithium's Senior Vice President, Xiong Wanyu, and the team.

Senior Vice President Xiong Wanyu reviewed the long-standing friendship and cooperation history between Tianqi Lithium and Latin America, emphasizing the shared commitment to ESG and sustainable development principles, which he believes will lead to broader cooperation prospects and create infinite value.

At the Li Science Museum, visitors learned about the past, present, and future of lithium, as well as the evolution of the lithium battery industry. With detailed and systematic scientific knowledge and interactive exhibits full of technology, guests couldn't help but take out their phones to capture this memorable moment.

In the interactive space on the third floor, the Latin American journalists enjoyed the original sand animation film "We share" and the documentary "China Chile Study Tour Programme" produced by Tianqi Lithium. The latter won the Sustainable Development Film Award at last year's Television for the Environment (TVE) and the Odyssey Film Festival in the UK

.During the tea exchange, visitors delved into the special connection between Tianqi Lithium and Latin America, as well as the investment situation in Chile and the achievements in actively participating in global sustainable development initiatives.

The Latin American media delegation expressed their feelings about their first visit to Sichuan and their love for Chengdu. Learning that the Li Science Museum had hosted the youngest president of Chile, Boric, and Chilean students last year, they were even more excited. Some journalists praised the world's first Li Science Museum and Tianqi Lithium's international vision. They also extended invitations for Tianqi Lithium to visit their countries, expressing Latin America's willingness to establish, maintain, or further expand good cooperation relations with Tianqi Lithium.

Though China and Latin America are geographically distant, they share common values and development concepts. In the future, through the media as a bridge, we will continue to deepen communication and cooperation, work hand in hand, and move forward together.
