On August 29, a delegation of journalists from several Latin American countries visited Tianqi Lithium. They toured the Li Science Museum and participated in a tea gathering, warmly hosted by Tianqi Lithium's Senior Vice President, Ms. Xiong Wanyu, and her team.
At the Li Science Museum, With the help of advanced audiovisual technology and interactive visual displays, the Latin American journalist delegation learned about the innovative research and development of lithium products, the scientific story of lithium, and its wide range of applications through a welcoming Spanish-language explanation. The visitors were impressed by the positive impact of the lithium on the progress of human civilization and praised the engaging and informative content of the museum.
During the tea gathering, the visiting Latin American journalists gained a deeper understanding of the close ties between Tianqi Lithium and Latin America, as well as the achievements Tianqi has made through its active involvement in global sustainable development efforts in Chile. They also enjoyed the original sand animation film "We Share" and the documentary "New energy talents: A Study Trip between China and Chile" , which won the Sustainable Development Film Award at the TVE (Television for the Environment) and the UK Odyssey Film Festival last year.
Ms. Xiong Wanyu reflected on the company's history of friendly cooperation and deep bonds with the Latin American region. She emphasized that the shared commitment between Tianqi Lithium and Latin America to ESG principles and sustainable development will lead to broader cooperation prospects and create immense value. Tianqi Lithium will continue to actively seek new opportunities for collaboration, explore new models of cooperation, and work together to tell the story of mutual success.
The Latin American journalist group expressed their love for Chengdu during their visit to Sichuan and their reluctance to leave. They showed great interest in the China-Chile study tour program and highly praised Tianqi Lithium's efforts in talent cultivation in the lithium industry and promoting cultural exchange between China and Chile. They also commended the world's first Li Science Museum and Tianqi's international vision. Some journalists extended a sincere invitation to Tianqi Lithium, hoping Tianqi would visit Latin America to experience the unique local culture and vibrant atmosphere. They expressed a willingness to establish, maintain, or further expand good relations with Tianqi Lithium and further deepen communication.
