Tianqi Lithium Successfully Held an EHS Team Capacity Building Event
From August 13 to 15, Tianqi Lithium's Headquarters Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Department successfully held an EHS Team Capacity Building Event. The series of activities included internal trainer training, a quarterly seminar, and more. The purpose of these activities was to enhance the professional capabilities of the EHS team and to strengthen their understanding and application of EHS knowledge through exchange and practice. EHS team members from various Tianqi Lithium plants and projects actively participated in the event.
During the two-day EHS Internal Trainer Training, the Headquarters EHS Department invited experienced industry instructors to deliver systematic courses and teaching methods. They provided in-depth explanations and guidance on topics such as "self-awareness, needs analysis, course design, and teaching skills." Through role-playing and simulation exercises, the training tested and enhanced the teaching skills of EHS internal trainers, enabling them to achieve comprehensive improvement in both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise.
In the subsequent seminar, the EHS team engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as the "Integration of EHS System and Policies" and the "Execution and Recommendations for EHS Incident Management Procedures." EHS managers from various sites and projects actively participated, sharing their extensive experience in safety management practices. They also explored key issues in the field of EHS management and exchanged ideas on a range of innovative approaches.
During the seminar, the Headquarters EHS Department shared insights on the EHS incident reporting process and investigation methods. They emphasized the importance of standardizing the practical operation of the reporting process and provided an in-depth analysis of the root cause analysis method.
In his closing remarks, Pan Xin, the EHS Director at Headquarters, expressed his gratitude to all the EHS team members from various plants and projects who participated in the training and seminar. He emphasized that the seminar served as a multidimensional platform aimed at fostering knowledge sharing, professional discussions, and deeper communication and understanding among team members. He hoped that every participant would gain knowledge and be inspired in their thinking through the seminar, thereby strengthening team cohesion through meaningful exchanges. By establishing unified standards and consensus, the EHS concepts and culture can be promoted across the entire workforce, ensuring consistent management requirements and behavioral norms. The Headquarters EHS team will continue to provide solid support and resources to all sites and projects, ensuring that safety work is conducted efficiently and orderly.
The successful execution of this event not only effectively enhanced the EHS team's training capabilities and professional skills but also established unified standards and reached a shared understanding, ensuring the continued efficiency of EHS work.
