“Water Map” thematic volunteer service was initiated in 2018 by various volunteer teams within Tianqi, with serial thematic volunteering activities focusing on the theme of “protecting biodiversity”. This initiative aims to promote a green ethos that encourages reverence for nature and compassion for all living beings. From 2018 to 2023, each branch consistently organized one event annually, primarily engaging “parent-child” families, with a total participation exceeding 500 individuals.

In October 2023, Tianqi Public Welfare successfully launched “Our Environment Season – The Water Map” thematic volunteer service activities in Dujiangyan. Twenty volunteers from the Tianqi Chengdu branch, along with Chilean exchange students supported by the Tianqi Lithium-sponsored “New Energy Talents' Program”, visited the construction site of the Dujiangyan irrigation system to learn about its water management principles. They also conducted volunteer services aimed at promoting biodiversity conservation surrounding the hydraulic engineering site.

In June 2024, Tianqi Public Welfare through "My Lithium Thinking Season-Water Map "guides everyone organisms under water to observe in Xinglong Lake understand plants with five senses and explore biodiversity. "Water Map" presented a special "June lst" Natural Museum Science Popularization Carnival to 20 groups of parent-child families by Xinglong, Lake.The Xinglong Lake Map Exploration Tour is led by professional natural science teachers and divided into two small teams, the senior group and the junior group, to explore the lake along different routes.

lris, water lily, panda violet, water chestnut... The teachers led the elderly children to transform into "biodiversity observers" and came to the "Landscape Bridge Classroom" first. Starting from the difference between Chinese fir and Chinese fir, they encouraged the children to use their five senses to understand plantsand explore the relationship between water quality and aquatic ecological plants in Xinglong Lake Subsequently, the elderly family came to the Silver Birch Grove, where the children and their parents worked together to collect fallen leaves and fruits, making plant exploration notes and specimens.

The younger group of parent-child families first come to the Acertruncatum grove to collect samara and Acer truncatum leaves, observe the pulsation of growth in all things, anddance with flowers and insects. Under the guidance of the teacher, the children personally made butterfly attract ants and played a parent-childgame called "Attracting Bees and Butterflies'in the Flower Realm Classroom. Butterflies, dragonflies, damselflies, bees, and aphids fly with flapping wings in the air, while children and their parents happily chase and run on the grass.

Through the "water Map" activity, children learned about more than 30 types of plants, more than 10 types ofinsects, and also saw several wild fish experiencing the beauty of the world. And those who have experienced the beauty of the earth since childhoodwill surely gain the power of life fromit, accompanying them through out their lives. The world is noisy and chaotic. Maythe child like innocence, naivety, and fun of Tianqi children always beprotected by someone, May the adults who protect them see the prosperity of the world and still have child like innocence.
