Tianqi Lithium requires all employees, suppliers, and relevant partners to adhere to its COC. The company emphasizes the importance of business ethics awareness and capacity building, and guides internal and external stakeholders to practice a
culture of integrity.
In 2022, Tianqi Lithium released the International Code of Conduct and actively conducted business ethics training activities, achieving a training coverage rate of 100%, in order to broadly communicate responsible business behavior standards to all employees. In 2023, the management team and ESG group participated in specialized training on business ethics risks and governance, deeply studied the Anti-Corruption Programme – A Guide for Listed Companies by Hong Kong’s Independent Commission Against Corruption. All new employees signed the Business Ethics Commitment. The Supervision & Audit Department conducted specialized training on anti-fraud and reporting at the Shehong base, with over 700 participants.
Anti-corruption and Anti-bribery
We have firmly adhered to the Anti-Fraud and Reporting System and impose disciplinary actions for violations, including warnings, dismissal, and a zero-tolerance policy. In addition, we have also integrated adherence to the employee code of conduct into performance evaluations while linking it to employee remuneration.
Whistleblowing and Protection
If any fraudulent activity is discovered, aside from the Supervision & Audit Department, it should be reported through proper channels to the Supervision & Audit Department. If fraud is suspected within the Supervision & Audit Department, it should be reported through proper channels to the Company’s Board Office.

According to the company’s Anti-Corruption and Whistleblowing Mechanism, the organization strictly prohibits any acts of discrimination or retaliation, as well as hostile measures against employees participating in investigations. Individuals found guilty of unlawfully disclosing the identity of whistleblowers or retaliating against whistleblowers will face termination of employment and contract, and those actions that violate the law will be referred to judicial authorities for legal proceedings.
