Delegation Led by Chairman of Buenos Aires National Scientific and Technical Research Council Visited Tianqi Lithium

On June 12, Mr. Roberto Salvarezza, Chairman of the National Scientific and Technical Research Council of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and his delegation visited Tianqi Lithium. Frank Li, Vice President of Corporate Development of Tianqi Lithium, warmly welcomed the delegation on behalf of the company.



The delegation enjoyed an immersive experience of Tianqi Lithium’s achievements in green lithium resource development, efficient utilization, and value chain extension at the Li Science Museum. Li presented the company’s global footprint and Tianqi’ s commitment to driving highquality growth in the lithiumbattery sector through technological innovation. That is what closely aligns with the scientific innovation of Buenos Aires Province. Looking ahead, both parties will fully depend on their respective strengths to explore cooperation potential in areas such as energy, talent development, and scientific and technological innovation.



Mr. Salvaresa was impressed by Li Science Museum’s cutting-edge audiovisual storytelling on lithium and the newenergy industry. He shared Buenos Aires Province’s policies to stimulate scientific innovation, particularly sustainable mining and value-added transformation of mineral resources. He also expressed a strong interest in establishing a collaborative partnership with Tianqi Lithium across the full lithium battery value chain, with the goal of exploring new application scenarios and promoting research, innovation, and sustainable development.


The visit marked a sound opportunity to strengthen China and Argentina cooperation in the lithium battery sector. Tianqi Lithium will continue to drive innovation and actively expand global exchanges and partnerships in lithium technology.
