To comprehensively review the effectiveness of its 2025 EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) initiatives, systematically deploy key safety priorities for 2026, strengthen organization-wide safety alignment, and reinforce safeguards for high-quality corporate development, Tianqi Lithium Corporation convened its 2025 Annual Work Review Meeting of the Safety Production Committee.
Chairlady Ms. Jiang Anqi and Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer Guo Wei attended the meeting and delivered remarks. All members of the Safety Production Committee, along with management representatives from the Environment, Health and Safety Department, participated both online and onsite. The meeting was chaired by Pan Xin from the EHS Department.
At the meeting, Pan Xin presented a comprehensive review of the Company's 2025 EHS performance, detailing the achievement of annual performance indicators. The report covered compliance management, system operations, training programs, and on-site control measures, while also analyzing internal and external risks and outlining key EHS priorities for 2026. Leaders from various plants, projects, and research institutes reported on their annual EHS implementation progress and future focus areas.
The meeting also reviewed the 2025 EHS reward and accountability mechanism, recognizing outstanding teams and individuals for exemplary performance in safety management throughout the year.
Executive Vice President & COO Guo Wei reflected on the Company's 2025 EHS achievements. He noted that amid continued business expansion, the commissioning of multiple projects, and heightened external regulatory requirements, the Company successfully achieved its annual performance targets of “Two Zeros and One Reduction.” Through cross-functional collaboration, EHS management capabilities were systematically strengthened.
Looking ahead to 2026, he outlined four key priorities:
Strengthen strict EHS incident management, with a proactive focus on near-miss reporting and behavior-based safety management;
Deepen system upgrades and ensure rigorous implementation to enhance management effectiveness;
Focus on critical risk areas, reinforce pre-incident risk control, and strengthen process safety management;
Consolidate foundational safeguards and cultivate a proactive safety culture.
Chairlady Ms. Jiang Anqi provided strategic guidance in three key areas:
First, the Company should continue building a resilient and safety-oriented organization, embedding EHS principles into the top-level design of sustainable development. EHS risk assessments should be conducted proactively at critical stages, ensuring comprehensive risk control across the entire value chain.
Second, the Company should further refine its EHS governance mechanisms, strengthen the foundation of its management systems, and enhance audit mechanisms to manage upstream and downstream risks. Contractors involved in both new and operational projects should be incorporated into performance assessments to reinforce consistency and standardization in EHS management, preventing systemic risks through systematic control.
Third, the Company must rigorously implement safety management requirements and foster a company-wide proactive safety culture. By strictly enforcing both accountability and positive incentive mechanisms, and ensuring clear rewards and consequences, EHS management will transition from reactive response to proactive prevention.
Tianqi Lithium remains firmly committed to safeguarding employee safety and supporting the Company's long-term development. In 2026, the Company will continue to advance all EHS initiatives, enhance intrinsic safety capabilities, and ensure steady progress along a path of safe, green, and sustainable development.
