On September 15th, 2023, Li Jiang, Secretary of the CPC Suining Municipal Party Committee, and Liu Huiying, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Suining Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Suining, met with Jiang Weiping, Chairman of Tianqi Lithium Corporation, and other relevant representatives from TLC in Suining. With a focus on seizing the opportunities presented by the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, the two sides exchanged views on enhancing cooperation in lithium battery projects, expanding the industrial chain, and fostering the development of industrial parks. These deliberations aimed to expedite Suining's transformation into a model city for modernization in the central Chengdu-Chongqing area and solidify its position as a leading hub for the lithium battery industry.
