Recently, Mr. H.E. Khalid Al-Mudaifer, Vice Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia, led a delegation to visit Tianqi Lithium’s Zhangjiagang Plant. The delegation was warmly welcomed by the Tianqi representatives including Mr. Li Guo, Vice President of Tianqi Lithium, and Mr. Zhang Bingyuan, General Manager of Tianqi Litium (Jiangsu) Co.,Ltd.

During the meeting, Mr. Li Guo provided an overview of the development of Tianqi Lithium and highlighted the advantages of Zhangjiagang Plant in technology and quality control. Further, Mr. Li emphasized Tianqi Lithium's achievements in ESG and sustainability-related areas. Mr. H.E. Khalid Al-Mudaifer expressed his gratitude for Tianqi's hospitality and conveyed appreciation for Tianqi Lithium's corporate development, business operation, and ESG accomplishments. There were also discussions on the development of global new energy industry.

Following the meeting, the Saudi Arabian delegation was given a tour of the Zhangjiagang Plant, focusing on the procedures for production and operation, as well as practices in energy conservation and emission reduction. The guests gained a comprehensive understanding of Zhangjiagang Plant's unique position as the only fully automated battery-grade lithium carbonate production line in operation globally, with cutting-edge production technologies and process workflows. Further, the delegation learnt about the plant’s advantages in cost control and product quality, positioninig it as a benchmark producer in the Chinese domestic lithium carbonate product market.
