Recently, Tianqi Lithium Corporation’s independently developed Integrated Technology for the Resource Utilization of Spodumene Smelting Slag was successfully included in the Catalogue of Advanced and Applicable Technologies and Equipment for the Comprehensive Utilization of Industrial Resources (2025 Edition) issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, as well as the Catalogue of Green and Low-Carbon Technologies and Equipment in the Industrial Sector released by Sichuan Province.

This marks the first time in China’s industrial solid waste lithium smelting slag sector that an innovative integrated technology has been simultaneously selected for both authoritative national- and provincial-level catalogues. The recognition not only affirms Tianqi Lithium’s industry-leading achievements and technological innovation capabilities in energy conservation and carbon reduction, but also facilitates the broader adoption and application of this technology—contributing to the realization of China’s “carbon peaking and carbon neutrality” goals.
