At Chengdu Headquarters, the company hosted an event themed on “Duanwu in Artistic Flair: Changing the World with Lithium”. The event unfolded in three segments: crafting mugwort bouquets, playing a Monopoly style board game, and DIY lacquer fan painting, which brought a fun festival experience featuring traditions and interactions.The atmosphere on site was relaxed and vibrant, with aromatic mugwort filled the air, colorful hand-painted fans shimmered in sight, and joyful laughter resonated continuously. Everyone immersed themselves in creating and playing, embracing both the festive cheer and each other's heartfelt blessings.
The Shehong plant
At the site, Tianqi Lithium (Shehong) Co., Ltd. held the Dragon Boat Festival event themed “Awakening Cultural Memories, Celebrating the Lithium Strength of the Old Plant.” and Q2 “Happy Hour” event. Over 50 veteran employees—each with over 20 years of service—gathered for a meaningful cross-generational dialogue honoring their shared 'lithium' legacy. Over the past three decades, the company has grown from a small plant in Shehong County into a major global player in the lithium industry, thanks in no small part to the dedication and perseverance of its long-serving staff.
Veteran staff representatives reflected on the company's remarkable journey—from abacuses to automation, from manual operation to intelligent production systems. These vivid stories inspired younger employees to honor tradition while pursuing innovation and forging bold new paths. The event concluded with the awarding of “20 Years of Dedicated Service” medals to these veterans, honoring their steadfast commitment and invaluable contributions.
The Anju Plant
The union of Suining Tianqi Lithium Co., Ltd. hosted a Duanwu and Children’s Day celebration titled “Lithium’ Inspired Childlike Delight & Zongzi Joy.” Under the theme “Honoring Culture • Caring for Staff,” the event featured fun games like the “Zongzi plucked relay race” and “DIY Zongzi sachet”, creating a warm and joyful festival atmosphere. The company also distributed Children's Day gift boxes to the employees' kids, delivering heartfelt blessings and care. This celebration not only carried forward traditional culture but also fostered closer connections among staff, strengthening team unity and spirit.
The Zhangjiagang Plant
The Zhangjiagang plant hosted a distinctive Duanwu-themed birthday celebration under the slogan “Zongzi Affection, A Year of Well-being.” Employees handcrafted fragrant sachets and tried a variety of traditional Zongzi, savoring cultural heritage and nostalgic flavors. The event exuded warmth and serenity, enhancing interpersonal exchanges while promoting the fine traditional Chinese culture.
The Chongqing Plant
The “Zongzi Joy & Birthday Cheer” “Happy Hour “event brought festive flair to the Chongqing plant. Lush Zongzi leaves adorned the venue, and colorful sachet charms hung playfully everywhere, filling the space with vibrant celebration. During the “Five Colored Threads” and fan decorating contest, employees wove strings in blue, red, yellow, white, and black—colors rooted in traditional symbolism — into bright, beaded ropes embellished with mini Zongzi charms, symbolizing wishes for health and well-being. Alongside beautifully styled fans, these handcrafted pieces reflected both creativity and cultural heritage. Amid laughter and collabraation, participants rediscovered the charm of traditional handicrafts.
