On March 12, H.E. Mr. Ivan Zyuulu, Ambassador of Zambia to China, and his delegation visited the Tianqi’s Li Science Museum, where they were warmly welcomed by the Tianqi Lithium team.
Inside the Li Science Museum, Mr Zyuulu and his delegation explored the diverse forms and applications of lithium through advanced audiovisual technology and interactive displays. From lithium’s natural state to its role as the "industrial MSG" in various products, and its critical applications in the modern new energy sector, the delegation gained a comprehensive understanding of lithium and China’s rapidly evolving new energy industry, leaving them deeply impressed.
At the museum’s Sustainability Academy, the delegation watched a themed sand animation film about Tianqi’s Net Zero initiative. While observing the exhibitions made from recyclable materials, Mr Zyuulu remarked, "This is truly brilliant!"
The Tianqi Lithium Li Science Museum is dedicated to educating the public about lithium’s past, present, and future, sharing the scientific story of lithium while promoting the vision of harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature. Since its opening, the museum has welcomed over 4,000 visitors by appointment. By hosting international students, global political and business leaders, and other distinguished guests, the Li Science Museum has become a flagship platform for fostering international collaboration and cultural exchange, continuously contributing to global green and sustainable development.
