On November 19th, 2024, the first China International Lithium Industry Conference was successfully held in Chengdu. The theme of this conference is "Chain Global, Lithium Ignites the Future: Building a New Blueprint for High Quality Development of the Lithium Industry Chain Together". It brings together government leaders, industry associations, top experts in academia, enterprise representatives, and international institution leaders related to the lithium industry at home and abroad to discuss hot topics such as coordinated development of the lithium industry chain, technological innovation and industrial upgrading, and international cooperation.

Exciting moments of the conference
This conference is hosted by the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and co organized by Tianqi Lithium Industry. The conference has attracted over 400 global lithium industry elites.
In addition, representatives from 11 countries' embassies and consulates, including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, the Democratic Republic of Congo, France, Germany, Peru, Spain, and Zimbabwe, attended to discuss industry development trends together.

During the conference, industry experts gave keynote speeches on the coordinated development of the upstream and downstream of the lithium battery industry chain, delving into the diverse issues of the lithium industry, including global investment, resource distribution, standardization process, as well as the operation of lithium carbonate futures, industry development trends, and technological innovation.
Jiang Anqi, Chairman of Tianqi Lithium, stated that the lithium industry, as an important component in promoting energy transformation, has continuously improved its value, novelty, and greenness in industrial development. At the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference, Tianqi Lithium released a carbon white paper and made a commitment to the "net zero goal", which will help the lithium industry transform into a green and low-carbon industry and promote high-quality and sustainable development of the lithium industry.
