On June 28-30 and July 6-7, the "Tianqi Lithium 2024 'Changing the world with Lithium Cup' Basketball League" was successfully held in Anju District, Suining City, guided by the Tianqi Lithium and organized by the Suining Tianqi Trade Union. Mr. Jiang Weiping, founder/honorary chairman of Tianqi Group and Tianqi Lithium , attended the finals to present awards to the winning teams and delivered a speech.
This league consists of a five-a-side basketball championship, a three-point shooting competition, and a team two-point fixed-point shooting competition. The league has specially invited the Tianqi Group basketball team to participate, forming six teams with the Tianqi Lithium headquarters and various subsidiary basketball teams to compete on the court. This is also the first large-scale sports and cultural activity jointly participated by Tianqi Group and Tianqi Shares, fully demonstrating the corporate culture spirit of Tianqi people's unity, cooperation, and enterprising spirit, as well as their firm belief and cultural pursuit of "co creating lithium ideas".
The league has attracted numerous basketball enthusiasts from various subsidiaries of Tianqi Group and Tianqi Lithium to actively participate. They train diligently in their spare time, only to showcase their best selves on the field and bring glory to the team. During the competition, each team demonstrated superb skills and a tenacious spirit of hard work, and every game was thrilling and exciting.
After two weekends and 10 intense team matches, the basketball team of the joint-stock company stood out among many participating teams with excellent teamwork and stable performance, and won the championship of this basketball league. In addition, multiple teams and individuals have also won runner up, third place, and various individual awards with outstanding performance.
On July 7th, Mr. Jiang Weiping, founder/honorary chairman of Tianqi Group and Tianqi Lithium , and other leaders visited the scene to cheer and encourage the athletes. After the competition, an award ceremony was held on site to recognize the team's top four, first place in three-point shooting, first place in team two-point fixed-point shooting, and MVP awards. Mr. Jiang Weiping personally presented the trophy to Tianqi Group Basketball Team, the champion team that won the highest honor in this league, and affirmed the teamwork and spirit of hard work demonstrated by all participating players in the competition.
Finally, Mr. Jiang Weiping delivered an important speech. He mentioned that Tianqi's basketball culture has been continuously promoted and inherited since its establishment. The team spirit, fighting spirit, and high requirements for teamwork and overall ability contained in basketball are important components of Tianqi culture. I hope that every employee can integrate basketball into their work and life, become the inheritor of Tianqi culture, and continue to carry forward the spirit of unity, cooperation, courage to strive, and fearlessness of difficulties in their future work.
