Recently, Talison Lithium Pty Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "Talison Lithium"), the Australian subsidiary of Tianqi Lithium, has launched the "Partnering for the Future" (Partnering for the Future) programme for 2024 jointly with the Bridgetown-Greenbushes Shire Government of Western Australia (hereinafter referred to as the "Local Government"), with Talison Lithium providing funding to the Local Government. Bridgetown-Greenbushes Shire Council in Western Australia (the "Local Council") have jointly launched the Partnering for the Future programme for 2024, with Talison Lithium providing a grant of A$2.254 million to the Local Council to support community infrastructure, municipal buildings, recreational areas and youth spaces.

" Partnering for the Future" is funded by the Talison Community Investment Programme (CIP), which will be launched in 2023 and aims to provide funding to local governments and communities for a number of strategic projects, generally aimed at improving the quality of education, the health and well-being of the population, and contributing to the improvement of biodiversity, in order to collectively achieve the SDGs.

Under the Partnering for the Future 2024 programme, Talison Lithium, in partnership with the local government, will prioritise infrastructure upgrades to enhance the living environment of the community and facilitate the daily lives of local residents by funding improvements to parks, sports facilities, footpaths and driveways and drainage systems. In addition, the project will provide state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment for the City Hall and an interactive interpretation system for the Visitor Centre, enhancing the functionality and service levels of Bridgetown's government facilities.

More importantly, the project also includes a sustainable energy development project - installing solar panels and battery storage systems for municipal buildings. This clean energy project between Talison Lithium and the local government not only reduces carbon emissions and protects the local environment, but also represents a high degree of cooperation between the company and the local government in promoting a green and low-carbon energy transition.

Jenny Mountford, Speaker of Bridgeton-Greenbush County Council, expressed her gratitude for the "Partnering for the Future" programme and looked forward to continuing to work with Talison Lithium in other areas. Craig Dawson, General Manager of Operations for Talison Lithium, said, "We will continue to deepen our partnerships with local communities to promote sustainable development in their neighbourhoods."

Talison Lithium has always believed that the development of enterprises should be complementary to the prosperity of the community, the enterprise has always been committed to the benefits of the local community to integrate into the community, to enhance the friendly relationship with the community, and at the same time to take practical action to implement the concept of green development, to promote the sustainable development of the community.
