On March 26th, the 4th session of the Board of Directors of the Sichuan Charity Federation was successfully held at the headquarters of Tianqi Lithium in Chengdu. Yixi Dawa, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, and President of the Sichuan Charity Federation, attended and presided over the meeting. Kang Dongjin, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director-General of the Sichuan Provincial Audit Office, and Chairman of the Sichuan Charity Federation, attended the meeting.
The meeting studied the newly revised "Charity Law", reviewed and approved the "Articles of Association (Revised Draft)" and "Rules of Procedure of the Board of Directors (Revised Draft)" of the Federation, as well as related system rules such as "New Member Admission Application". It also reviewed and approved the Federation's 2023 work report, financial report, 2024 work plan, budget situation, "Work Plan for the Second Meeting of the Fourth Member Representative Assembly and the Second Meeting of the Fourth Board of Directors", and the establishment of the "New Vision Charity Exchange Promotion Committee" and other related matters.
President Yixi Dawa made suggestions to the leadership team of the Charity Federation. He pointed out that charity is an important part of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics, an important means to promote common prosperity for all people, and an important symbol of social civilization progress. He emphasized the need for us to use "original intention, sincerity, and conscience" to further improve the charity discourse system, build a sound charity development ecosystem, and extensively mobilize charity forces.
After the meeting, President Yixi Dawa led all participants to visit the Lithium Science Museum to fully understand the past, present, and future development direction of lithium, as well as the company's layout of lithium resource development, innovative research and development of lithium products, and upstream and downstream cooperation in the lithium industry.
Xiong Wanyu, Senior Vice President of Tianqi Lithium and Vice President of the Charity Federation, reported to President Yixi Dawa on the company's recent charity work. Tianqi Lithium has established a special voluntary service guarantee fund based on the "Tianqi Global Public Welfare Platform", encouraging employees to deeply participate in voluntary service projects, conveying the spirit of voluntary service involving all employees, and carrying out diverse and rich voluntary services and public welfare charity projects. For example, the company promptly donated cash and materials to support earthquake relief and post-disaster reconstruction work in the earthquake-stricken area of Luding, Ganzi, Sichuan Province. Through public welfare voluntary services, it supports the national rural revitalization plan. In addition, as the company continues to expand its international business, it also continues to strengthen overseas public welfare responsibilities to promote the healthy and harmonious development of local communities.
In the future, Tianqi Lithium will continue to undertake corporate responsibilities in helping society resist natural disasters, building a harmonious ecological environment, assisting disadvantaged groups, and increasing social welfare, to support the work of the Provincial Charity Federation with practical actions and fulfill the responsibilities of the vice president unit.
