As a crucial sector for achieving the "dual-carbon" goals and energy transition, China's lithium battery industry has embraced new opportunities, spurred by market demands in new energy vehicles and energy storage, showcasing the momentum of China's rapid development. In order to further enhance the resilience of the lithium industry chain, from December 12th to 13th, the 2023 China Lithium Industry Annual Conference and the Third China (Chengdu) Lithium Industry Chain Summit Forum, organized by the Lithium Industry Committee of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, were held in Chengdu, Sichuan.

Zou Jun expressed that China has achieved significant results in green and low-carbon energy transformation, with an accelerated pace of optimization and upgrading of the green industrial structure. It has become the world's largest producer of basic lithium salts, lithium battery materials, and lithium batteries, as well as one of the most significant lithium consumption markets. As a vital support for driving China's green and high-quality development, the lithium battery industry will play an even more critical role. Tianqi Lithium will leverage industry development and its own advantages, collaborate with strategic partners in the upstream and downstream industries, deeply implement the "ESG" development philosophy, and jointly create a value chain for green, healthy, and sustainable development. This effort aims to contribute to the construction of a new development pattern for the lithium industry and support the high-quality development of the lithium battery new energy industry.
