Talison Lithium, a subsidiary of Tianqi Lithium (51%), possesses a large-scale and high-quality lithium ore reserves in Greenbushes, Western Australia. This asset has been exploited for more than 30 years. According to a Wood Mackenzie report, the total resources of the Greenbushes lithium mine is equivalent a 13.10Mtpa of LCE, and the reserves of lithium ore are equivalent to 8.30Mtpa of LCE. The just-completed CGP2 expansion project has boosted Greenbushes’ installed production capacity to 1.62 million tonnes of lithium concentrate per year.
